MTL's audio books are available on both cassette and CD's!
As people find there is never enough time to do the important things like read a treasured novel, or if they're tired of the same old, same old on the radio, they can turn to the Library. Families on the go now have the opportunity to "read" as they travel. Best selling authors, words of wisdom, a classic from the past or a child's favorite story are all available on audiobooks at the Library.
Books on CD and cassette are provided by the Friends of the Library. Also check out the audiobooks on CD purchased through an LSTA Grant administered by the Illinois State Library, a division of the Secretary of State's Office.
